The Core Business Centre, Milton Hill, Abingdon, Oxfordshire opened on April 3rd 2006. A brand new building converted from an old fruit store into a stunning, architect designed space for training, recruitment and marketing.

We were selected to supply art works for the space because we are experts in the psychology of colour.
We were instructed by the forward thinking and innovative owners of the Core Business Centre, to design and place art works that fully use colour and form to work mentally and spacially for the function of each space.

The Stunning galleried landing is enhanced with a very large (195x190cm painting).

The form accentuates the very modern lines and the colours red, white and blue, whilst being slightly patriotic are also sociable (red), calming (blue) and white (pure).

The long entrance space was placed with a large red, black and white painting on the rear wall. The colour red promotes sociability and is a warm welcome. The triptych, on the right hand wall was specially designed to highlight the former use of the space (fruit store).

The organic form of the art work complements the brick wall of the old building whilst providing an original and contemporary use of photography.

The Old Barn, architect designed, is now a huge conference room. This sculptural art work has pastel tones which are gentle and  the colour combination is condusive to learning.

Purple is a colour which denotes wealth and luxury and particularly accentuates the expanse and luxury of the huge space.

The adjacent thatched room has a framed and glazed print to complement the room.

The form of the art work highlights the exterior thatch of this part of the building, whilst providing formality in the space.

The reception and stairs have original art works.

The form and colour were designed to be both calm and sociable and will immediately relax and welcome staff, clients  and visitors.

The Training rooms all have prints to enhance the space but using colours that will contribute to learning and concentration.

The colour blue produces calming chemicals in the body - whilst the tension of the lines of these art works, creates an atmosphere which will relax and inspire.

These Limited Edition Prints placed side by side will enhance vision (green)
and increase concentration (yellow).
