USE
OF RENTED ART WORKS
Renter
is agreeing to rent prints or paintings to display in their commercial space.
Paintings and prints which are rented are NOT FOR SALE on your premises.
Permission
to copy, photo or reproduce in any manner whatsoever is not
granted.
LENGTH OF RENTAL
Prices quoted are for a minimum of 12 months. Other lengths of rental can be agreed.
OPTION
TO PURCHASE RENTAL
Renter
may exercise option to purchase the art work giving a minimum
of
1 months notice. The purchase price will
be be specified.
10% of the annual rental fees will be deducted from the retail
price.
All sales are final.
RENTAL
PAYMENT
Payment
of rental of art works is made monthly. The first months payment
must be made on or before delivery date.
Payment
is by standing order.
In
the case of non-payment, the art works will be collected and
returned to the Studio.
The Company's costs including storage
charges due to the Customer's neglect
or default or lack of
instructions shall be paid by the Customer in addition the Contract
price.
DEFAULT
Renter
shall be in default if Renter:
a)
fails to make payment
b)
fails to exercise proper care and attention whilst in possession
of the work(s).
c)
fails to notify JoeDaisy Studio of any damage, loss or theft
of the work(s)
d)
fails to return the works immediately after the rental period,
e)
fails to meet any other requirements of the agreement. The cost
of repossessing the art work(s) and the cost of any legal action
or collection agency fees resulting from any default shall be
the sole financial responsibility of the Renter.
COPYRIGHT
Copyright
of every art work belongs to the artist. Downloading and copying
of art works from this web site is not allowed. Photography,
reproduction or copying of art works on your premises is not
allowed.
The
artist reserves the copyright and all reproduction rights to
their art works according to law.
